Bridge of Life

molded by seasons
of joy and sadness, I have walked
the bridge of life

midway through my life
I come ready, ripe for changes
I cross the bridge

This is in gracious response to One Deep Breath, this week's prompt is "Bridges".

I've also included this for Poetry Thursday. Thank you.

bridges are powerful metaphors and you have expressed that well.

I recognize that bridge, just a different angle. :)

I'm glad the bridge is crossable now.

I ever like bridges
They are the link between two banks
The link between two worlds...

Nice! I just turned 40 a few months ago, so I can relate. I guess all of us at any given time feel like we're crossing some kind of bridge.
