It's always interesting getting one's fortune told by a palm reader. It's been ages since I've had mine read. Regardless whether one believes in this, you can still take time to look at your hand, examine the lines, shape and texture. Imagine how many hands you’ve held with it. What stories do your hands have to tell?
This is an Illustrator piece I created in response to the weekly challenge at
Illustration Friday. This week's topic is
"Fortune".

Great detail in the design!
Great choice for this week's topic and a most excellant blog:-)
Simple but layered ... and it's never easy drawing a hand. Well done.
I have to hand it to you! This is just lovely!
(sorry... I couldn't resist)
Really nice.
Nice textures. Good use of entire space, yet keeps the focus on the palm. The way you've illustrated the lines they really do look like symbols, like if I only knew the language I could read it myself.

Cool colors and shapes! Love the green and orange in this.
Your blog is blooming!:)Borut
Nice approach to this week's topic (although I don't believe in fortune tellers). I do like the green/orange colour combination!
Love this!! The colors are tasty! Very crisp clean and professional! Hands do talk a lot- especially in Italy-

dear bloggers- again, it's so nice hearing from all of you. It's important to get feedback and see how one's art is being received and reflected back. Ginger- I really did laugh at your reply ;) Everyone enjoy your week!
I had my palm read once, and I confess the best part was just having someone hold my hand -- it felt really nice! (I don't even remember what my fortune was!)
