Yellow

pull out winter coat
layer bed with quilt and flannel
still, daffodils bloom!

you put out fires
give relief to dogs alike
bright yellow hydrant

This is in gracious response to the weekly prompt "Color(ful)" at One Deep Breath.

Love these Michelle! A great way to start this stormy, rainy day :)

I thought of you when I was looking at MSN's week in photos. Here's the link. The first one is so very zen.

These are fabulous - such a contrast, but with the unifying punch of bright yellow! Wonderful.

Great daffodil shot. And, matched perfectly with the hydrant shot and two excellent haiku.

This is a great waiting for spring post.

Your colors remind me of spring and the early summer. Lovely Haiku's.

I love the yellow theme. I almost used a yellow hydrant for my yellow haiku as well. Oh, and daffodils are my favorite! Your photo and words truly capture their simple beauty.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. I was happy to find this prompt as I had taken the hydrant pic the other day and then I remembered the daffs that bloomed over the weekend. Have a yellow week!

i do love your daffodil haiku...they are the brave ones to expose their sunny faces, sometimes even through a bit of snow...looking forward to the explosion of color about to happen across the street at the zoo. Really beautiful photo, as well.
