This is posted in response to Illustration Friday. This week's prompt is Subtract. When we lose something we love, it feels like a subtraction from the heart.
As much as I missed you while you were on hiatus, missy let me tell you that your graphics have come back with some kinda punch to them!! I loved your work before but WOWEEEEE, they're even stronger now. F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S !
A big thank you for your inquiry and comments about this subtraction thing. So often we put ourselves out there and get hurt, but if we didn't - we'd never grow. So, take chances and learn to heal the hurt. Peace to all.
Love your strong graphic style and interpretation! love the black against the rich red and the muscle-like texture. (hey- just read through some of other comments- 'strong' seems to be the the word! ).
