Legendary – IF

This is posted in response to Illustration Friday. This week's prompt is Legendary. The dragonfly is legendary and mythical throughout the world. In Europe, dragonflies have often been seen as sinister. In East Asia and among Native Americans, dragonflies have a far better reputation. For me they're a sign of a nice hot summer day with a little magic thrown in.

GORGEOUS patterns and colors! If this doesn't say warm spring, I don't know what does. And I didn't know dragaonflies had a sinister reputation in some places. How could they? They're so beautiful!

Nice. I have red dragonflies that visit me every summer, which I love. I took some good pix of them which are on flickr. :-)

Great take on the challenge.
Lovely and I can feel the breeze too.

Your designs would be great printed on fabric. Have you seen the spoonflower.com website? They will turn designer's surface designs into fabric and they have a fun blog, too.
