Polar Extremes - IF

This is posted in response to Illustration Friday. This week's prompt is "Extremes". What first came to mind for me was climatic extremes and the threat to the extinction of polar bears. Climatic warming is melting their ice pack habitat. This is hard to imagine and saddens me.

Cool illo. Very sad article though logical it is with global warming and all. It will be a sad day when the great white giant will no longer be found in the wild.

Thanks for visiting my blog and offerring a great comment.

You know this topic is near and dear to me as well, esp now that I have Olaf and Olga to worry about :) The whole climate change is of great concern to me, honestly. Nice post and illustration GZ!
I'm so touched you stopped by with well wishes before the show! It was a success. It was great fun to watch everyone take the time to read the stories. One lady said the show was a brilliant idea, oh...and I sold 2 more. (Last night I sold "Moon" and "Peace,")
I want to get to the studio to work on this week's word and then perhaps later I'll post pics from last night. Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness, and yes, you were there in spirit :)
See you Monday?

Some, though not many, feel we are just in a big cycle. I hope that's true! Nice work.

I like the graphic feel of this piece. The colors are great. (The Polar Bear Situation makes me very sad indeed. Watching Inconvenient Truth, that was one of the things that drove it home to me...so sad.)
