Good one... sometimes here we get what seems like a million birds chirping all at once just before dawn (or maybe they can see it and I can't from under the covers). :-)
Beautiful simplicity that perfectly captures the dawn -- a crow is cawing now as I type and the sun is just about to climb over the top of the hill. Gorgeous photo, too. :)
You know I'm a fan of crows and ravens so I love this haiku! The photo is beautiful and peaceful. I'm glad I stopped by for my Get Zen/Get Zapped fix. I needed this :) No time to participate in IF with company here. I've never missed it, but then again the word isn't moving me this week. Thanks for brightening my day!
Wow, so many people have crows in their lives, I guess they really get around. They can be a nuisance sometimes at 5:20 in the morning making a raucous on the roof as if there were grown men up there dragging stuff around! I will try to feel blessed by their presence, and then put earplugs in.
The crows and I have a love/hate relationship. In your poem, I love them. (I awaken at that time normally.) In real life, they seem to be reproducing in greater numbers than ever before around my area. They seem to be chasing away the other birds. Again, though, I love them in your poem.
beautiful photo! i too used to associate the sound of crows with the morning-time, though i've noticed that there don't seem to be as many crows here in the south as there were back home in california.
Nice picture We had a tame crow for a year. You could never trust him, took silver spoons, keys and drunk out off the wine-glass. He disapeared, miss him

Yes, they wake me up in the morning too!
the raucousness of the early morning crow - yes I can relate to that.

I'm starting to quite like the sound of crows cawing, there's something good and honest about it.
I hear the crows more than other birds, I love their sound and the simplicity of your words.
beautiful photo and great word image

WoW...a beautifully captured shot!
Honestly speaking this morning only I was awakened by the sound of crows!

Love the brevity. And the mystery. Not only the sun is arriving.... :-)
