Verdant Embrace

greeting us as we
return to your verdant embrace
gateway to home

Happy First Birthday!! Susan and Jennifer at One Deep Breath have opened their hearts by offering a weekly haiku prompt for a year now. I truly appreciate their generosity and the community of poets they have brought together. It's like returning home to warmth with every visit and I learn something about myself and the other poets with every prompt. Thank you!

A lovely entrance to home and a poem to match it.

Thank you all for meeting at the verdant gateway and leaving generous comments. I took this picture on a island nearby and like the mystery and potential that lies beyond the entrance.

Peace to all.

I like gateway even in a small garden. I have one, and it does such as I have two gardens.
It is like I have a larger garden
It offers a good support to imagination...
