I concur with everyone else's comments of the second one- and you put it so simply and beautifully, too! And I love the little creature at the top- he looks so content!
Enchanting poems and pic! and thank you. I've been told to "wake up and smell the roses"- or was that "coffee"? I don't drink it- but like the smell of it, and roses.
I like these very much, particularly the second, it's a real reminder to stay awake to the world. I also like the photo - where does he (looks like a he) spend his life asleep?
yes, along with the others...great job of illustrating exactly what we do...sit & wait for tomorrow until we wake up & realize it was yesterday. Nicely done.

I love these. Nicely done. Reminds me of a trip I made to the garden centre last year.
lovely! Where does this fella reside?
the thought of missing life when you sleep... hmmm...
if this is the case, i still want to stay in bed...
:)
I appreciate the "carpe diem" message of the second.
I love the message in the second - don't sleepwalk through life.
The second one is my favourite. Such a true sentiment - we wait so long for something, then we miss it!
I like the way your wrote this from both sides. And, I agree with the second one.
Love the photo and the reminder to seize the day. Both are lovely.

The Leaning Troll of the Garden! ;) I love this.
so many things we miss by not paying attention... nice!
I can't bring anything new to the party here: I liked them both. The whimsical photo is so fun.
I truly enjoyed your comments. I like how many of you pointed out the "carpe diem" aspect, it's such a good reminder.
Linda- this guy lives inA Lot of Flowers, a cool outdoor garden shop in Fairhaven.
He is just too cute and delightful haiku.
Interesting shot...well done!
Heyyyy I loved them both, the pic was an added bonus to the prompt, sleep.
nice poem... but the guy looks so blissful in his sleep that u dont really feel like blaming him! :o)
